The Institute of Architectural Sciences is seeking a university assistant to join its team in the research unit of Architecture Theory and Philosophy of Technics, TU Wien, in Vienna, Austria.

At the Institute of Architectural Sciences, in the research unit of Architecture Theory and Philosophy of Technics, TU Wien is offering a position as university assistant (prae-doc) limited to expected four years, for 30 hours/week.

Expected start: January 2023.

Tasks:

• collaboration on research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
• cooperation and guidance of students
• research and project activity
• writing a dissertation and publications
• participation in scientific events
• assistance/collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks

Your profile:

• completion of a master’s degree or diploma programme
• knowledge of scientific work
• very good skills in English communication and writing
• interest in research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
• very good communicative skills and team competences
• curiosity, inventiveness and ambition
