Niwaki is seeking a senior sales associate to join its London team.
We are looking for a sales assistant to work full time at Niwaki on Chiltern Street, London. We need a practical, pro-active team player, who is either familiar with or eager to learn about our brand and products. We also seek a touch of creative and/or horticultural sophistication.
Please visit our Chiltern Street store. It’s a thoughtfully designed space that reflects our approach to retail. We aim to sell useful, long-lasting and well-designed tools and accessories to professionals demanding the best, enthusiasts who have tried the rest, and anyone else who appreciates craft and quality.
Chiltern Street itself is a high-end shopping area, brimming with interesting, niche fashion and lifestyle retailers, catering to connoisseurs and all those looking for something slightly different. We would love to hear from applicants who can identify our customers’ needs and communicate with them at the appropriate level and who are happy to represent Niwaki in the wider Marylebone shopping community. From time to time you may also be required to represent Niwaki at trade shows and events such as The Chelsea Flower Show.
Please be unafraid of technology and have a keen eye for detail, both when it comes to all-important administrative duties and on a more practical level around the shop.
You must be a fluent English speaker. Knowledge of Japanese language and culture would be advantageous but not essential; respect for other cultures and an open, easy-going attitude are.
