Moretti Interior Design is hiring an interior architect/designer to join its team in London.

Employment type: full time

Job summary:

• producing high quality project design deliverables from concept phase to construction packages with the overview of senior designer and creative director
• works closely with the project team
• creates meeting minutes after each internal and external design for the senior designer and review and distributes it to the team
• attend site visits, suppliers and manufacturers
• responsible for sample research for projects and to ensure project boxes are kept neat and tidy
• ensures project milestones and deadlines are met with the overview of senior designer
• creates project schedules, design drawings and facilitates the prototype process by liaising between the design team and suppliers
• responsible for the project timetable and interior design budget and works closely with procurement agent to ensure smooth delivery of projects
• undertakes an ongoing review of subsequent stages with the input from the lead designer for key project stages

Skills and requirements:

• a minimum of three to four years’ experience in high-end residential
• experience of managing projects independently, from concept to completion
• FF&E and interior architectural skills important, but with a leaning towards interior architecture
• ability to develop innovative concepts, visualise and confidently explain them both internally and externally
• organisational strength and confidence in the implementation of projects
• good technical understanding of all aspects of interior design, and passionate about keeping up to date with new developments and design trends in the design industry
• attention to detail is paramount
• ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-moving environment
• flexible and able to adapt to deadlines
• excellent presentational skills
• must have a full understanding of project processes from concept, design development through to site implementation
• ability to undertake on-going research of furniture systems, products, finishes and materials

• AutoCAD (proficiency)
• InDesign
• Photoshop (proficiency)
• SketchUp
