Gustafson Porter + Bowman is looking for a landscape architect with Revit skills to join its team in London.
Gustafson Porter + Bowman is an award-winning leading landscape architecture practice which has received public acclaim for creating authentically engaging spaces in a global portfolio. We have several new and exciting projects and are looking for an experienced landscape architect with Revit to aid the development and implement the practice’s BIM strategy.
You will be working alongside our BIM coordinator, and with all project teams and the partners. You will also be collaborating with leading clients, architects and engineers in the construction industry, throughout the UK and worldwide. This is an exciting time for pioneering BIM modelling in the landscape design industry and the successful candidate will be helping to push our ambitions and deliverables to the next level.
Essential skills and experience:
- two+ years’ experience working on BIM-managed projects
- professionally qualified landscape architect (or architect with a strong and demonstrable interest in landscape architecture)
- high level English language skills (both written and oral)
- strong design capability and understanding of complex 3D geometry
- high-level of proficiency in Rhino and Revit, and confidence using other relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign, Word)
- demonstrable experience of delivering a landscape project to BIM Level 2
- strong technical capabilities, including understanding of materials and landscape detailing. Construction experience would be a bonus
- competency in communicating with other professionals
- self-motivated with a collaborative team player approach, willing to assist others and share advice
