Alison Brooks Architects is looking for architects with advanced 3D modelling skills to join its team in London.

We are recruiting highly motivated candidates to join our team on a range of exceptional projects at design, detailing and construction stages.

Project responsibilities:

  • report to project leader and support ABA design teams to deliver innovation, design and technical excellence in tandem with professional competence and excellent client service
  • ensure consistency, co-ordination, correctness and completeness in all ABA design material from concept through to technical information and contract documentation
  • ensure that projects adhere to client and ABA project programmes and in accordance with the project fee and resourcing plan
  • overseeing design teams and project organisation: programme, deliverables, filing, naming, document standards, BIM standards, graphics protocols; etc.
  • technical design and coordination and supervision and checking
  • BIM standards compliance checking
  • mentoring less experienced team members
  • project resource, scheduling and programming with operations director
  • weekly progress reporting to creative director
  • post completion project analysis

Experience:

  • experience of large, complex projects in the UK and overseas
  • experience of leading teams through RIBA stages one to seven
  • experience of multi-residential/mixed-use projects
  • thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and planning procedures
  • strong technical expertise and knowledge of current construction methods
  • contract administration and site experience
  • experience of specifications (NBS)

Skills:

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • excellent design and presentation skills
  • excellent 3D design skills and experience across a range of 3D design platforms
  • experience working in teams
  • excellent attention to detail
  • advanced Revit/Rhino/V-Ray/Enscape
  • expert in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
  • excellent organisational skills, flexibility and able to adapt to deadlines

Qualifications:

  • degree in architecture
  • UK experience, ideally
