Snøhetta is seeking BIM talents to join its team in Oslo, Norway.

In Snøhetta Oslo we are strengthening our BIM team and are looking to fill several positions.

As BIM manager you will lead our BIM team. Your key goal will be to make it easier for everyone in the studio to work with BIM. You will develop and maintain Snøhetta Oslo’s strategy in collaboration with top management and be responsible for processes, workflows, templates, resources and other tools for efficient use of BIM. High proficiency in BIM and Revit, as well as a thorough understanding of how BIM affects the architectural process is a requirement. Just as important is a proven ability to work with people and convince them why processes and systems are important and communicating in a language that is understood by everyone. We are looking for a doer who can ensure that things happen, not just plan and talk about it. You will also be expected to take part in practical work in projects. The position will be part of the extended management team of Snøhetta Oslo.

As BIM coordinator you will work directly in projects making sure they comply with industry standards and project specific requirements. You will work with BIM coordinators from other companies and disciplines in projects and coordinate input from architects and BIM specialists. In addition, you will both work with our BIM manager on templates, workflows and processes, and with BIM specialists on supporting projects on a day-to-day basis. We expect you to have the needed technical know-how and also to be a strong communicator who works well in teams and takes pride in helping others succeed.

We are also considering strengthening our team with BIM specialists.

All members of the BIM team at Snøhetta Oslo are expected to take part in training and assisting other staff members in BIM and Revit. For all positions, strong proficiency in English is required, knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage. Experience from large projects in different countries is a major asset, as is experience with QA and redlining.
