Part 2 architectural assistant/Part 3 architect

Waldo Works Studio is seeking a Part 2 architect or newly qualified Part 3 architect to join its team in London.

Waldo Works Studio designs both the architecture and interiors of projects across many genres: small and large-scale residential, luxury retail for leading brands such as Smythson and Selfridges, hotel, restaurant and workplace.
We try to make spaces and places that resonate with identity, ones which are rigorously researched and designed to fully engage the user through the beauty of form and function.
About the role:
We’re seeking a Part 2 or 3 architectural designer with a minimum of three years of experience in the high-end sector. We’re looking for a candidate to work as part of a team on a range of projects. You’ll take a role in our small and dynamic team. We work collaboratively, whilst also taking charge to deliver independently. Applicants should be comfortable producing concept and construction information at all RIBA stages. If you’re highly organised, full of ideas and eager to get stuck in, do apply.
Roles and responsibilities:
- be able to manage workload across several projects
- meet strict deadlines and work to budgets while maintaining quality and consistency
- be a resourceful problem solver and quick learner
- be able to demonstrate a good eye for detail
- have some experience working on interior and joinery detailing
The candidate should ideally also:
- have experience with VectorWorks
- be proficient in working with Macs
- have a meticulous, proactive and efficient approach to work and projects
- financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness
- an interest in interior design is advantageous
