Johnson Naylor is recruiting a senior interior designer with significant technical experience to join its team in London.
Johnson Naylor is an interior architecture and design practice based in Clerkenwell, London. Founded by Brian Johnson and Fiona Naylor, we have developed a reputation for delivering inventive, contextual and elegant design.
Our studio is a friendly and collaborative environment where staff are encouraged and provided with the opportunity to develop and progress.
We are currently looking for a senior interior designer adept in technical detailing and with on-site experience to join our team, with a minimum of seven years professional industry experience in residential interiors.
Our ideal candidate will have the following proven skills and experience:
- ability to produce accurate interior detailing and joinery drawings for large-scale residential projects
- strong creative thinker with the ability to develop design information in order to provide intelligent interiors solutions
- ability to rapidly understand and discuss solutions both visually and verbally with the design team
- strong problem solving skills, an eye for design detail and materials with a good understanding and the ability to comment on, workshop drawings, specifications, quality samples and on-site construction
- strong technical knowledge and skills
- ability to assist/review the technical work of other designers
- ability to work under little supervision to a consistent high standard is essential
Additional requirements:
- must have advanced Vectorworks knowledge
- BA Hons degree in interior design/architecture or equivalent

This is a full-time position. Competitive salary depending on experience.
