dRMM Architects is an award-winning, design-led studio based in London Bridge. We are an international team working on a diverse and exciting range of projects.
We are seeking talented, ambitious and experienced Part-II architectural assistant to join our team to work on the later stages of a high-profile hotel project, and to contribute to an upcoming higher education project. The position will be offered on a fixed-term contract initially.
You will be expected to work as part of a project team, research and develop architectural concepts and technical solutions, prepare CAD drawings and BIM models, schedules, reports and visualisations, develop and communicate ideas and concepts at both design and technical stages clearly through hand sketching, and coordinate designs with other team members and consultants. Coordination of BIM models and experience of clash detection procedures is required.
Proficiency in Vectorworks, Revit, Dynamo, Navisworks, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite are minimum requirements, while knowledge of SketchUp Rhino and rendering software is advantageous. Good model-making skills, hand drawing and sketching and a high level of design competency are required. A technical background of working on projects with engineered timber elements would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be RIBA Part-II qualified or equivalent.
You will have excellent English communication skills, be well-organised and have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team. Experience of hotel and higher education sector projects, including direct experience of on-site work stages is critical.
