Senior interior designer/architect

c2:concepts has an opportunity for a senior interior designer/architect to join its London practice.
c2:concepts is looking for a highly motivated and creative senior workplace interior designer/architect to join our London West End studio as part of our fast growing, design focused team. This opportunity is for someone very hard working and committed, a self starter who is able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be expected to successfully manage a number of projects on time and to budget through to completion whilst managing interior designers designated to assist them. They will be working closely with our wider design team in our other studios and dealing directly with our high-profile clients, spread throughout the UK, in a dynamic and fast changing environment, and as such, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a well established team will be key.
Required skills and experience:
- a senior workplace designer, ideally with 10 years experience gained within an interior design or Architectural practice, and at least five years of that experience gained within the London marketplace
- a Degree in interior design and/or architecture
- candidate to demonstrate extensive experience of high end commercial/interior projects
- working knowledge of new building, interior construction and refurbishment projects
- knowledge of current interior design trends, lighting, materials, finishes and furniture
- highly creative approach and mindset
- professional experience dealing with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers
- experience in designing, managing and delivering projects from initial concept to completion
- knowledge of drawing packages, Photoshop, SketchUp and Microsoft Office – c2 work on PowerCADD, as such it would be advantageous if you can already use this package, however candidates with strong knowledge of AutoCAD or Vectorworks and the ability to learn quickly will also be considered
- self-motivated and also an excellent team player who is able to work quickly and efficiently, whilst working with other teams within the studio
- able to work with and mentor designers at all levels
- self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
- excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- EU national or full UK working visa/full working permits if necessary
Immediate start available – salary to be discussed on the basis of skills and experience.
