Part 2 architectural assistant/ architect

Balaam Murphy is looking for Part 2 architectural assistants/recently qualified architects to join its team in London.
We’re a recently established practice based in Dalston. We’ve just been appointed to the Mayor of London’s Architecture and Urbanism Framework, and you would be primarily working on a range of small, affordable, housing projects and related competitions.
We’re looking for talented designers with experience working on housing projects in the UK. You should also be technically competent and have your own interests in materials, construction and sustainability. You’ll be energised by channelling these into the pragmatics of real projects.

Skills/experience required:
· RIBA Part 2/3 qualified
· excellent design and problem-solving skills
· good practice experience at Part 2 level. Experience of working on housing projects at Stage 4 is desirable
· able to use the following software as a minimum: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Rhino
· good verbal and graphic communication skills
· knowledge of London and UK policy and building regulations
