Model maker technician
HawkinsBrown is looking for a model making technician to join its London practice.
This is a full-time role on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Our model making facilities are spread across our two London studios and we are looking for someone to assist the team in the smooth running of both workshops.
The role may include some direct model making and construction, but the principal focus is on training and tuition of staff on equipment usage and best practice techniques.
Typical tasks and activities include:
- assisting in the development of our in-house 3D print technology
- providing training to staff to help them develop more creativity and efficiency in their modelling skills
- providing instructions to all users in safe workshops practices
- assisting in maintaining the model shop to a high standard
Role requirements:
- degree in model making preferred
- good experience of 3D printing systems and relevant software
- experience delivering training preferred
