East Architecture, Landscape, Urban Design is hiring an architectural assistant to join its team in London.
East Architecture, Landscape, Urban Design is an award-winning, design-led architecture, landscape and urban design practice. We are currently a team of 12 in a studio based in London Fields.

We are recruiting a RIBA Part 2 assistant in response to a range of new and expanding projects.
We offer:

- socially and publicly oriented work, with a focus on the public realm and social housing
- opportunities to support sustainability, urban and landscape research within the practice
Candidates should have the following:
- experience in housing and an interest in the public realm and the flexibility to work in both areas
- excellent communication, conceptual, drawing, graphic and design skills
- interest in working as part of a small team
- passionate and wide-ranging knowledge of architecture
- attention to detail
- creativity and persistence to find solutions that build on strategies and ideas specific to each place
- understanding of procurement routes
- a good understanding of UK building regulations and an interest in working within the constraints of the wider framework of guidance and regulations
- some experience in all RIBA work stages
- proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Suite, Rhino and SketchUp
- experience with Revit and BIM
These skills should ideally be evidenced within your CV/portfolio.
Candidates must have:
- two years minimum post-RIBA Part 2 experience in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English
- proof of eligibility to work in the UK
