Urban designer
at Cross Works
Cross Works is seeking architectural and urban designers with advanced software capabilities to join its growing team in London.
We are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective looking to grow sustainably to meet an increased demand across a number of sectors.
The new recruits will work on large-scale international masterplanning schemes and assist on architectural projects at a variety of scales and typologies, amongst other types of creative work.
The following knowledge and capabilities will be required in order to be shortlisted for an interview:
- qualifications in architectural and/or urban design
- demonstrable professional experience in architectural and/or urban design, working on large scale projects
- excellent command of Rhino and some of it’s plug-ins are essential for this role. Advanced users preferred
- those with an interest and demonstrable capabilities in urban analytics (including spatial and environmental analysis) will be prioritised
- knowledge of GIS is highly beneficial
- ability to use Adobe Creative Suite / MS Office is also expected
- ability and flexibility to work across multiple projects
- friendly and conscientious, with strong communication skills
- a passion for teamwork and collaboration
- a passion for design
- self-starter with bundles of initiative
Competitive salary (dependent on experience and capabilities), generous holiday allowance, and end of year bonus scheme.
This position will require working in an office environment in London.
