Joinery manager/CAD draftsperson

New Wave London is looking for a joinery manager/CAD draftsperson to join its team in London, UK.

Established in 1996, the company has quickly gained a reputation as one of the leading building companies of bespoke high-end residential and commercial projects in London. We love what we do and pride ourselves on our work methods and exacting standards. We have a full joinery workshop and take on all works in house.
We are looking for a highly skilful and knowledgeable joinery manager/CAD draftsperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- complete the design process from initial brief through to production drawings
- create workshop production drawings
- receive client/designers’ feedback and make amendments as necessary
- help clients/designers to solve problems, be they budgetary, aesthetic, functional, etc
- liaise with suppliers to ensure correct solutions are specified
- liaise with clients/designers to determine material choices, providing samples when required
- keep the workshop team informed as designs progress
- conduct site surveys when required
- purchase materials required for the project
- assist on pricing when required
- attend initial client and site meetings
