Senior scheduler
at KPF
KPF is looking for a senior scheduler to join its team in Singapore.
Responsibilities include the following:
- 15-plus years of experience in scheduling infrastructure design and construction work. At least 10 years relevant experience in planning and scheduling coordination for projects, such as mixed‐use development or multi‐modal transport hub of minimum construction value of $600 million and above
- responsible for the complex analysis and review of project schedules and documentation, regular and expert user of Primavera P6 software and the generation of reports and presentations for client meetings
- ability and experience to derive both design and construction schedules from scratch. You will have strong experience in forecasting durations and logic, including the duration for design, pre‐construction, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning and closeout
- possess excellent communication skills and be very knowledgeable with construction means and methods
- review and analyse complex construction schedules and provide opinions, advice and reports as necessary on project progress as well as predictions of the work using Primavera P6
- provide oversight of contractor’s baseline schedule development and periodic progress updates utilising industry standard software tools
- confirm progress is consistent with the project schedule and other project records
- attend meetings and advise clients of actual progress and related cost implications
- develop potential recovery plan scenarios for time and cost in collaboration with contractors
- CPM scheduling and hands‐on use of Primavera P6 software for project controls and evaluation of delays
- manage a multi‐disciplinary team of up to five schedulers
- report writing and preparation of charts and graphs to support and present analysis
- regularly communicate with clients, coworkers and other stakeholders
- assist with the management of project’s risk, budget and schedule
Required qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in scheduling
- bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, other closely related field or equivalent work experience
- proficiency with Primavera P6 and associated software modules, PowerBi, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
