Morgan is seeking a product designer to join its studio in Hampshire, UK.

We are looking for a product designer to join our Morgan studio team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a design-led manufacturer and contribute to the design and development of new furniture collections for the hospitality, cruise and workplace markets.

The role

We are currently offering a one-year student placement, or a one-year contract with the potential to extend to a permanent position, starting in September 2023. 

The role is ideal for a technical and creative designer who wants to develop skills in design and production within an ambitious contract furniture business. The Morgan studio team launch new collections, work with external designers and develop bespoke products throughout the year. The role requires good design and product development ability, preparing and issuing all drawings and specifications for new collections and controlling the prototyping process. 

The candidate

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a positive team member and will have good technical and organizational skills. Skills to include good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and CAD (Solidworks), attention to detail and the ability to produce clear manufacturing drawings.
