Project architect

Cooke Fawcett Architects is looking for a talented, experienced project architect to join its London studio.
Cooke Fawcett is a design-led practice based in Farringdon, established in 2015. We are working on a varied range of projects for arts/charity/public sector clients as well as taking on private sector commercial and residential projects.
We are looking for a motivated architect with at least three years’ post-Part 3 experience including during construction phases to join our team. You will work on a range of residential, cultural and commercial projects at various project stages. You will work collaboratively, liaise with clients and take responsibility for running projects from concept design through to completion.
As part of our growing team, which currently consists of six members, you will be fully included in design conversations across all the practice’s projects and will play an active role in the wider development of the business.
Please check your experience fits the criteria prior to applying:
- at least three years’ experience following Part 3, including RIBA stages 3 – 6
- strong design and representation skills
- knowledge of CAD software including proficiency in 2D AutoCAD, Revit and 3D Rhino, plus Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- experience assembling tender packs with construction administration and dealing with contractors
- enthusiasm and an ability to take initiative
- legal right to work in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English

Salary will depend on experience. It is anticipated to be a full-time role, 40 hours per week. Post-covid we are working back in our office to encourage a positive office culture. We have flexibility that enables working from home when needed.
