About the role
Patriarche London is looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Part 1/2 architectural assistant to join its team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively and creative practice with excellent opportunities for career development. We are looking for someone to support our team of architects across several projects at a range of RIBA stages.
The ideal candidate would be a team player, quick learner and problem-solver who brings natural organisation, attention to detail, strong drawing, digital modelling and visual communication skills to support our team.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- degree in architecture
- minimum two years’ relevant experience on projects within a UK architecture company
- project experience at RIBA Stages 0 to 3
- proficient in Revit and/or Rhino
- strong attention to detail
- well-organised
- multitasking and problem-solving, methodical
- excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills both verbal and written
- proactive, self-initiated and enthusiastic personality with strong interpersonal skills
- strong and engaged team player
- results-orientated individual
- knowledge of the French language would be a bonus
Your responsibilities:
- report to the project leader of the current project on a day-to-day basis and ultimately to the practice partners
- prepare, develop and edit, under the guidance of the project leader or nominated architect, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
- contribute or assist, as required by the architectural teams
- seek to understand the design project, assisting with formulating the brief and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues, consultants and clients
- use the guidance of the project leader to prepare, develop and edit the drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design
- where required, create representations of design options for the design team in physical or digital form
- prepare technical design and specification information
- integrate sustainable design and ethos into existing and new projects
