Motif is hiring an account manager to join its team full-time in London.

Motif is a specialist PR agency that delivers creative storytelling solutions to help clients connect with audiences across the world.

We work with architects, stage designers, creative directors and design studios who are known for creating monumental events and cultural moments that have captured the imaginations of millions across the world.

The role includes:

• managing clients across Motif’s portfolio and supporting the director on day-to-day tasks
• attending regular calls/meetings with clients and updating them on all activities
• creating and executing successful PR campaigns
• working with external PR teams and photographers
• attending live music events, concerts, press trips and client activations
• writing press releases and copywriting for clients
• award and conference submissions
• social media support for Motif and its clients
• providing recommendations and general counsel to clients to support PR campaigns
• building relationships with existing and new media contacts
• generating creative and innovative ideas to support client’s campaigns
• briefing clients and interview prepping
• client management, including reporting and campaign debriefing

Key skills and experience:

• a degree in PR or English is desirable
• three to four years experience in PR or a similar field
• excellent written and communication skills
• good creative eye and understanding of the design environment
• an interest in music and live entertainment
• able to work to tight deadlines
• a keen learner and excited to learn new things
• a capable researcher and able to find new and exciting media opportunities for clients
• friendly and has a can-do attitude
• able to manage workloads efficiently across multiple clients and is highly organised
• excited to make new contacts and enjoys social environments

Other details

• this is a hybrid London-based position with a minimum three working days at our London Fields office in Hackney
• Motif attends live music concerts, festivals, journalist interviews and events regularly throughout the year
• ability to work outside of traditional working hours during events and music concerts is a requirement
• international travel to attend client meetings and live touring shows will be required
