Tillberg Design of Sweden is looking for a senior FF&E designer to join the team in Höganäs, Sweden.

In Tillberg Design of Sweden (part of Viken Group) your idea and concept develop into design for spaces that will be experienced onboard cruise ships and yachts all over the world. For this position, we are open to candidates with a background in interior design.

This role as senior FF&E designer focuses on:

• conceptual research and development
• creating mood and material boards
• specifying surface material, carpets, furniture, lighting etc
• design coordination together with your design team
• be involved in the whole process from client meetings to site inspections
• secure the design process with specifications, material binders, yard meetings etc
• briefing and cooperation with visuals artist

The perfect candidate can be described with:

• degree in either interior design or architecture
• eight-plus years of experience working with residential and/or hospitality design
• great insight into the trends and lifestyles and openness to design expression
• having a friendly approach and being a team player
• mentoring/leadership skills

Requirements:

• degree in interior design or architecture
• excellent knowledge of materials
• interest in trends and openness to diverse design expressions
• capability to read and understand drawings
• excellent English and general communication skills
• creativity
• team spirit
• knowledge of Rhino 3D and/or SketchUp
• knowledge of Archicad would be meriting
• experience from high-end marine business would be meriting
