Case Furniture is seeking a retail manager to join its team in London.

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced retail manager to join our friendly and growing team based at our head office/showroom in Wandsworth, London.
Areas of duty:
- managing the daily operations of the showroom and ensuring standards are upheld
- personally deliver the highest standards of customer service and support while instilling those standards throughout the team
- processing and management of orders through all channels
- organise sales promotions in collaboration with the sales, marketing and ecommerce team
- analyse monthly sales figures and forecast future sales and maintain management reports
- understand shifts in spending habits and identify directions and opportunities
- collaborate with the marketing manager to align showroom events/product launches with social contents
- visual merchandising: responsible for seasonal windows and showroom display changes
- business improvement: maintain awareness of market trends, competitors and opportunities to help determine growth strategy
- ensure processes and procedures are followed and that VM guidelines are adhered to
- coordinate showroom display updates
- maintain staff training and development
Key skills:
- you like to take ownership of your accountabilities and can work independently, as well as part of a team, with an organised and systematic approach
- excellent communication and relationship building skills
- experience within the furniture or design industry will be a distinct advantage
- proficient in Excel and Outlook
As the ideal candidate you will:
- have worked in a similar role, ideally in the furniture or lighting retail environment, for a minimum of two years
- be driven by a passion for the brand
- be flexible, proactive and fastidious with a dynamic approach to your work
- enjoy working within a close-knit team of like-minded people
- be the type of person who enjoys a challenge and does whatever it takes to get the job done
- be based in the UK
- level: experienced
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30 to 18.00, including some Saturdays (average of once a month)
The role is full-time, office/showroom based at SW18 London.
Remuneration: according to experience
