Mid-weight/senior interior designer

Harrison Pursey is recruiting mid-weight/senior interior designers on behalf of Big Mamma Group to join the group’s team in London.
Fantastic opportunity to join the in-house studio of this successful and hugely popular restaurant group. Big Mamma is a high end, fun and unique brand currently spanning seven countries. You will be working on iconic and highly creative projects with full involvement from concept to completion, creating the coolest spaces in the world!
Currently recruiting for:
- Senior interior designer – £50k plus (six-plus years experience)
- Midweight interior designer – £32k to £36k (three-plus yrs experience)
Required skills and experience :
- experience of running and delivering cutting edge creative projects ideally in hospitality/F&B or luxury residential
- delivering a strong design concept and creative vision through sketches, visualisation, space planning and production of full technical drawing pack, including a strong knowledge of joinery, furniture and construction detailing
- the senior designer will need experience of mentoring and managing team members to complete projects on time and on budget
- strong end-to-end project management skills and excellent attention to detail
- an extremely high level of AutoCAD essential, proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign, strong freehand sketching abilities
- great team player with the confidence and ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with the studio team, construction teams, contractors and ops teams
- awareness of current style trends as well as the wider restaurant industry
- a good knowledge and understanding of finishes and materials with a good eye for colour and style
