Senior interior designer/FF&E buyer

Harrison Pursey is recruiting a senior interior designer and FF&E buyer on behalf of Big Mamma group in London.

You will be working on iconic and highly creative projects with full involvement from concept to completion, creating the coolest spaces in the world!
Currently recruiting for:
- senior interior designer: £50k plus (10 years’ experience)
- FF&E buyer (procurement and logistics): £30k-£40k plus(five years’ experience)
Required skills and experience :
- experience of running and delivering cutting-edge creative projects ideally in hospitality/F&B or high-end residential
- strong end-to-end project management skills and excellent attention to detail
- great team player with the confidence and ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with the studio team, construction teams, contractors and Ops teams
- awareness of current style trends as well as the wider restaurant industry
- a good knowledge and understanding of finishes and materials with a good eye for colour and style
- the senior designer will need experience of mentoring and managing team members to complete projects on time and on budget along with an extremely high level of AutoCAD, proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign, strong freehand sketching abilities
- delivering a strong design concept and creative vision through sketches, visualisation, space planning and production of full technical drawing pack, including a strong knowledge of joinery, furniture and construction detailing
- the FF&E role has three main missions: procurement, logistics and invoicing
- these are busy hands-on roles which will suit individuals who are genuinely hard working, creative and passionate about being part of the team; the culture is friendly and collaborative and the company has a unique ethos and style which will require you to be confident and bold in your work, with conviction in your ideas
Start dates: ASAP
Location: the studio is based in Soho, London and must be willing to travel to sites abroad
