59 Productions is seeking an architect/senior spatial designer to join its practice in London.
59 Productions are currently seeking an architect/senior spatial designer with a minimum of six years industry experience to join our London studio. The role would require you to work within the architectural team, as well as with other departments at 59 Productions, to develop and realise designs for theatrical sets, exhibitions, installations, VR experiences and pavilions. The role would include developing designs across multiple RIBA stages, illustrating designs through visualisations, drawings, models and overseeing construction processes.
Proven expertise in stage design for theatrical productions, exhibition design or temporary structures is highly desirable.
Qualities, skills and experience required:
- at least six years industry experience
- experience with leading projects
- a degree in architecture, stage design, interior design, interior architecture or relevant fields
- proven track experience of designing and delivery built projects
- expert ability in 3D modelling software such as Rhino
- strong communication and organising skills
- a high levels of competency in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
- be legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
