Kiosk Magazine is looking for an events manager to join its London team.
Within the exciting new retail development of Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross there is a new street of small stores that are to be the hub of this new cultural and shopping community.
At the centre of Lower Stable Street is an event and retail space hosting launches, talks and workshops collaborating with brands and businesses from both within the development and the local area with the intention of raising awareness for the project and its retailers.
We are looking for a manager to develop and deliver events at the space.
Specifically the role will include
Marketing:
- to use digital marketing channels to generate event enquiries
- manage the creation and distribution of event marketing material both physical and digital
- creating and collating photos of events for marketing purposes
Sales and business development:
- assist the directors of the business to introduce brands and partners and convert these to events
- ensuring targets and budgets are achieved
- responding to event enquiries in an effective and timely manner
Event management:
- on-site management of events to include evenings/weekends
- ensure all events are delivered to the highest possible standard from a client and guest perspective
- manage the events calender to maximise the opportunities available
Person specification:
- experience in a sales or events role
- proactive/self-starter
- excellent people skills, confident talking to clients
- ability to manage all aspects of a project and relationship management
- positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to think laterally and willing to problem solve
- highly organised
