Intermediate interior designer

Charles & Co is looking for an intermediate interior designer to join its team in Bassano, Italy.
Charles & Co is a high-end interior design firm (AD100) working on bespoke residential and hospitality interiors for extremely private HNW clients around the globe.
We are currently seeking an Intermediate designer to help our senior designer manage multiple projects in Europe from concept to install.
The ideal candidate must have a degree in interior design or architecture and have at least three plus years full time experience.
This position will be contracted and the chosen designer will be expected to work at least four days a week in the Bassano office, just north of Venice.
The candidate must speak fluent Italian with a good level of English.
Responsibilities and duties:
- strong communication skills and be able to problem solve under pressure
- design and deliver large scale residential projects often with challenging deadlines
- experience designing custom furniture and interior joinery
- manage all FF&E procurement for the projects
- maintaining detailed budget spreadsheets
- work to project budgets, and exercise value engineering solutions where needed
- experienced at sourcing high-end finish materials. Existing relationships with worldwide vendors are essential
- producing drawings, joinery drawings, elevations and floor plans in AutoCAD
- strong organisational capabilities with the ability to multitask.
- excellent presentation skills and heavy client interaction, both verbal and written
Required skills:
- three plus years of experience with a luxury sector residential and or hospitality portfolio
- bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe and MS Office, REVIT would be a plus
- ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and ensure timely delivery of designs
- to be discreet and confidential
Salary range: commensurate with experience.
