Operations manager
at Studio Ore
Studio Ore is hiring an operations manager to join its team in London.
Central London, full-time, competitive salary depending on experience.
Studio Ore is a British design and manufacturing company known for creating refined brass bathroom fittings and architectural hardware. Our products are made with an uncompromising commitment to quality, craftsmanship and timeless design – and are specified by leading architects and designers across the globe.
As our international presence continues to grow, we are looking for a highly capable and proactive operations manager to support our founder and take on a key role in the next stage of our development.
About the role
This is a pivotal position at the heart of a fast-growing business. You’ll work closely with the founder and management team to manage and streamline the day-to-day operations of the company – from logistics and infrastructure to international office and showroom expansion.
You’ll be a natural problem solver, able to juggle multiple tasks, handle time-sensitive decisions, and put in place the systems and processes that will support our continued international growth. No two days will be the same – one moment you might be coordinating with a shipping partner, the next managing suppliers or planning a new showroom fit-out abroad.
Key fesponsibilities:
- oversee and improve day-to-day operational processes across logistics, supply chain, infrastructure, and international expansion
- act as a point of contact for software and systems providers, ensuring we have the right tools to grow efficiently
- support and coordinate showroom and office openings abroad – liaising with teams in different time zones and managing timelines and budgets
- work directly with the founder to manage a wide range of tasks and projects – from supplier onboarding to operational strategy
- maintain strong communication with our own manufacturing plant in Northern Italy
- identify opportunities to streamline and improve how the business runs at every level
What we’re looking for:
- degree-level education, with a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar operations role, ideally within a small, fast-growing company
- highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable working under pressure
- a proactive and pragmatic mindset – you enjoy solving problems and getting things done
- excellent communication skills – fluent English essential, with Italian fluency highly desirable
- confident managing multiple projects at once and working closely with senior
leadership - familiarity with logistics, software/systems, and operational infrastructure
- a genuine interest in design, craftsmanship, and supporting a brand with a creative edge
What we offer:
- a central role in a dynamic and growing international business
- a collaborative working environment in our Central London office
- the opportunity to work closely with the founder and leadership team to shape how the company grows
- career progression as the business expands, with room to take on more responsibility over time
