Benchmark Architects is seeking a senior architectural technician to join its office in Bedfordshire.
Benchmark Architects is an exciting, emerging RIBA chartered practice with a love for great design based in London and Bedfordshire.
We are seeking a senior architectural technician/technical architect to join our expanding team based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. Required for an immediate start. You must have 5-10 years post-qualification UK experience with proven expertise in delivering large scale residential development.
Essential requirements:
- strong interpersonal and communication skills; experienced in building and maintaining strong collaborative internal and external working relationships
- excellent people and project management skills
- a calm disposition ability to work under pressure and to meet project deadlines
- in-depth knowledge of current UK construction, building regulations and planning/listed building procedures
- thorough understanding of the responsibilities of all design related legislation i.e. CDM, CCA and H&S
- proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- must be eligible to work in the UK
