Studio K is seeking a 3D modeller to join its office in Chicago, USA.
Studio K is a Chicago-based interior design firm with an exciting portfolio of projects. Ranging from restaurants, bars and hotels to luxury student housing, our unique projects span the country.
We are seeking design professionals to join our team of collaborative designers. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, self-motivated, creative and have a positive attitude. We expect candidates to hit the ground running, with the ability to manage a wide range of projects simultaneously.
Applicants must possess the following:
- minimum three years experience in Solidworks (or similar) 3D modelling required
- experience designing, drafting and executing timely delivery of drawings
- skilled in translating designs, sketches, ideas and descriptions into 3D models
- adept at reading and understanding specifications, sketches and mechanical, construction and shop drawings
- proficient understanding of material depths and capabilities and ability to specify materials on drawings
- understanding of and ability to explain design concepts with other designers/drafters
- working knowledge of AutoCAD a plus
