The Light Lab is a leading UK-based manufacturer of bespoke architectural lighting features for high-end projects. With over 20 years of experience, we specialise in delivering custom lighting solutions for landmark buildings across the world. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a project account manager to join our team full time in our Shoreditch studio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prestigious architectural lighting projects, managing key client accounts and helping to drive the success of our growing company.

Key responsibilities:
- client account management: manage and develop key client relationships, ensuring excellent service and project delivery. Handle day-to-day client communications and address any project queries or concerns
- sales support: support the preparation of quotes, proposals and costings for bespoke lighting solutions, with responsibilities tailored to your experience – whether assisting senior team members or independently managing key elements of the process. Develop new business by identifying and targeting potential clients
- CRM management: oversee and update client accounts and project details in Zoho CRM, ensuring the sales pipeline is accurately tracked and reporting is up-to-date
- project coordination: work closely with project teams, including designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure the smooth running of live projects. Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and maintain clear communication across all teams
- sales development: support the identification of new business opportunities, assist with the preparation of proposals, and collaborate with the team on growing the client base
- client support: provide ongoing support to clients throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
Skills and experience:
- at least two plus years’ experience in a sales or account management role, ideally in the architectural, lighting, or design industries
- a background in lighting manufacturing or product sales would be a strong advantage
- strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client management and project delivery
- sbility to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- a strong understanding of architectural lighting, product knowledge, or experience in the built environment is preferred
- highly desirable: experience with CAD or similar software tools and the ability to read architectural drawings to understand project specifications
- experience using Zoho CRM (or similar CRM platforms) to track leads, manage opportunities, and ensure accurate client records
- self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
Salary is dependant on experience, and start date is flexible depending on notice period.
