London, UK
Senior interior architect
at Finkernagel Ross
Finkernagel Ross is seeking a senior interior architect to join its team in London.
About us
At Finkernagel Ross, we don’t just design buildings, we craft quietly extraordinary spaces for clients who expect more.
With studios in London and Hamburg, our work spans high-end residential and hospitality projects across the UK and Europe including the UK’s largest domestic Passivhaus and EnerPHit home. From our Shoreditch High Street studio, we operate with the energy of a boutique team and the vision of a global practice. Our culture is built on creative rigour, sustainable thinking, and a deep respect for people both those who live in our buildings and those who help bring them to life. We shut early most Fridays and take pride in fostering an atmosphere that’s both ambitious and kind.
About you
You’re an interior architect with a sharp design sensibility, fluent in English and German, and a thoughtful, unflappable approach to running projects. You thrive in a setting where attention to detail and collaborative leadership are equally valued.
Perhaps you’re craving a studio where your voice is heard, your talents are stretched, and your work contributes to something lasting? Perhaps you’re looking for a community of designers who care deeply about the craft, the client, and the carbon footprint? You’ll be self-motivated, ambitious, rigorous, curious and passionate about excellence in design, leadership and technical detailing.
If so, we encourage you to get in touch.
The role and what it entails
You’ll be entrusted with leading the delivery of high-calibre private residential and boutique hospitality projects in the UK and Europe from concept to completion. As a member of a small team you will be working closely with a Director and a project team, you’ll be empowered to own your projects, shape their trajectory, and deliver outcomes that delight our clients, meet the project programmes and exceed expectations.

- end-to-end project running, including programming, time management, documentation and consultant coordination

- overseeing ArchiCAD modelling, drawing packages, and information management
- translating beautiful ideas into buildable, sustainable, future-proof architecture
- collaborating with our in-house interiors team and external consultants to maintain design integrity
- engaging confidently in both English and German especially across our many German projects
We offer a hybrid working model (3–4 days in-office, 1–2 from home), early Friday finishes, office trips and a studio culture that nurtures both excellence and balance.
