London, UK
Project architect
at My/Architect
My/Architect Studio is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.
Job title: experienced Part 3 architect
Company: My/Architect
Location: London, United Kingdom
Join our growing team at My/Architect – an ambitious, design-led architectural practice transforming how London renovates.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Part 3 qualified architect (minimum three years’ post-Part 3) to join us immediately in a senior project-leading role. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-growing start-up delivering high-quality residential extensions and renovations across London – whilst helping to shape the processes and systems that create them.
At My/Architect, we’re building a next-generation architectural platform from the ground up – combining human-led design with smart, AI-powered systems. Our in-house tools streamline the way architects run residential projects, while offering homeowners a transparent, well-managed renovation experience. Central to this is Buiild.ai, our evolving AI project manager, which is being developed hand-in-hand with our architectural practice. It captures and organises communication, generates dynamic timelines and reports, and helps manage every stage of delivery. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in shaping both the platform and the AI – helping us test, refine, and evolve how architects and clients collaborate on projects.
Your role:
- lead multiple residential projects from initial consultation to completion, including design development, planning, tendering, and site delivery
- own client relationships, ensuring excellent service and design quality throughout
- work with our network of vetted builders, helping homeowners select the right fit for their project
- attend site visits and meetings, reporting through Buiild.ai as we test and develop the platform
- collaborate with other senior team members to test and refine our processes, tools, and AI systems
What we’re looking for:
- fully qualified Part 3 architect with five plus years post-Part 3 experience
- strong experience delivering UK residential projects, including extensions, lofts, and renovations
- demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at different RIBA stages simultaneously
- confident in client-facing roles and comfortable taking full ownership of projects
- excellent design sensibility and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality residential work
- rroficient in Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite
- strong working knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policies
- enthusiastic, proactive, and highly organised
- interest in digital tools and a curiosity for how AI might reshape practice
What we offer:
- competitive salary based on experience
- significant responsibility and autonomy from day one
- clear progression path in a growing company with influence over standards, systems, and technology
- the chance to directly contribute to the development of Buiild.ai, a groundbreaking AI project manager built by architects, for homeowners
- flexible working (hybrid studio/home)
- a collaborative, creative, and forward-thinking culture
If you’re excited about working at the intersection of design, technology, and residential architecture – and ready to make an impact from day one – we want to hear from you.
