Brompton is a British manufacturer of folding bicycles founded by Andrew Ritchie in 1976.
The company produces over 45,000 models of its lightweight, compact folding bicycles each year, making it the UK’s largest bike manufacturer. As well as this, the company also produces matching accessories that range from helmets, clothing, bags, lighting and visibility accessories.
The products, which are also available for hire, are handmade in London by its in-house design team, which comprises industrial designers, design engineers and craftsmen.
