Established in 1881, Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) is considered one of the most prestigious architecture schools in the world. The university offers programs in urbanism, preservation, architecture and real estate, which all include professional training and research. Notable alumni include Peter Eisenman, Charles Renfro and Ricardo Scofidio. Today the school has almost 200 staff and over 600 students.
