Founded in 2004, EAA - Emre Arolat Architecture is an architecture practice with offices in Istanbul, London and New York. The practice was founded by Emre Arolat and Gonca Paşolar, and is now one of the largest architectural practices in Turkey, employing over 150 staff. EAA has been involved in a wide variety of projects spanning cultural, government, historical, places of worship and residential sectors. One of its most notable projects is Sancaklar Mosque (pictured above) near Istanbul, featuring terraced landscaping and a cave-like prayer hall.
