Gensler is an international architecture firm founded by Art and Drue Gensler with their associate James Follett in 1965. Headquartered in San Francisco, the firm has over 45 offices across the US, Latin America, Europe, East Asia, the Middle East and South Asia. The practice works across architecture, interior design, planning and urban design, consulting and real estate, brand design and product design. Gensler employs over 6,000 staff made up of architects, product designers, brand strategists, masterplanners, interior designers, real estate consultants and design experts.
Pictured above is Shanghai Tower in financial district Lujiazui, which reaches 632 metres making it the tallest building in China and the world’s second-tallest building. The firm went on to win the 2016 American Architecture Prize for the project.
