Established in 1985, Ingenhoven Architects is an architecture studio founded by Christoph Ingenhoven. Headquartered in Düsseldorf, the practice consists of over 100 staff and is represented internationally in Switzerland, Australia and Singapore.
The practice is known for its pioneering work in green architecture, working across the commercial, residential, refurbishment, workplace and industrial-design sectors. Its specialism is in the design and implementation of ecologically sustainable buildings and high-rise structures.
Pictured above is Kö-Bogen II in Düsseldorf, a five-storey office block that will have a plant-covered facade and roof to help cool it, reduce inner-city heat and promote cleaner air.
