John Macaulay and Mike Sinclair founded their interior architecture and design studio in 2003. The practice is based in Nottingham, UK and employs a team of interior designers and FF&E coordinators to work on projects throughout the UK. Macaulay Sinclair’s portfolio consists of hospitality projects in the restaurant and dining industry, with clients including Hawksmoor, Dishoom and The Alchemist.

The studio designed the interiors of the BAO restaurant (pictured above) in King’s Cross, which is informed by midcentury Japanese cafe culture.
