Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto founded his own architecture practice, Sou Fujimoto Architects, in 2000. The firm operates from Tokyo and Paris, with many of its projects completed in Japan. The studio is known for its light structures and permeable enclosures, and has worked on a range of smaller-scale experimental designs. Among the architects’ many notable projects is the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion (pictured above) which was built in 2013.
