WeWork is a co-working company offering rented desk and office space with communal amenities for workers. The company designs a series of spaces ranging from private offices for teams of 1-100+ and common spaces with office facilities. WeWork has a team of in-house architects, designers and technology specialists that create custom workplaces for teams of 12+ to meet specific business needs.
In 2018, WeWork announced that Danish architect Bjarke Ingels of architecture firm BIG will be joining the company as chief architect to advise and offer insights and ideas about the architecture and design at WeWork.
