Intermediate designer - architect

Feldman Architecture is looking for a highly motivated and talented intermediate designer to join its team.

Founded in 2003, we are an award-winning architecture firm specializing in custom residential design with a portfolio expanding include many commercial and hospitality projects as well. Our studio’s culture is inclusive and casual;and we encourage all members of our firm to share ideas and collaborate on design concepts. Job descriptions/responsibilities: 

  • collaborating with colleagues, clients, and consultants to create elegant and sustainable solutions
  • creating and developing overall design concepts based on client requirements and collaboration with senior staff and the principal-in-charge
  • preparing 3D and physical models and renderings, and formulating design presentation strategies
  • engaging in all aspects of projects, from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration

Qualifications and requirements: 

  • bachelor’s or masters of architecture degree
  • three-five ears of architectural experience – minimum two years residential design
  • exceptional verbal, graphic, and written communication skills
  • knowledge of construction documentation methods and codes
  • familiarity with residential construction, including appropriate products, specifications, and detailing
  • Revit and SketchUp proficiency required
  • experience working on LEED projects and advancing towards LEED AP designation
  • highly motivated, personable, team-oriented individual with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • speaking and writing proficiency in Mandarin a plus
