Design studio assistant

Fredrikson Stallard is seeking a studio assistant to join its team in Clerkenwell, London.
Fredrikson Stallard is a fine art and design studio based in London established 2005.
We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to work on a range of projects including sculptural works and design for our international client base.
You will be supporting the studio and providing assistance with:
- the general daily running of the studio and workshops
- prototype and model making
- working on image retouching using Photoshop and Adobe Suite
- developing designs from sketch, renderings and models
- supporting the production team with research and contacting suppliers
The essential requirements for applicants are:
- knowledge of model making and confidence working with workshop tools
- confident in both Mac OS and Windows
- good Photoshop skills and understanding of Adobe CS
- advantageous to have knowledge in CAD software (Rhino 3D)
- great communication skills with a confident and diplomatic disposition
- good organisation and an enthusiasm to learn new skills
- good spoken and written English
This position will offer individuals a first hand experience in a busy creative environment.
