Bid coordinator
Haworth Tompkins are looking for a bid coordinator to join its north London practice.
The bid coordinator will work with the new business team, coordinating and preparing new business submissions. Candidates should have an interest in architecture, design or marketing with previous experience of tenders and bids preferable, but not essential.
New business:
- day-to-day support to the new business and communications manager
- preparing tender responses and competition documentation
- monitoring and managing tendering portals
- generating EOIs, PPQs, ITTs and other bid documents including writing, editing and graphic design
- coordinating bid production and submissions
- liaising with internal and external contributors (e.g. consultants) to bid documents
- preparing presentations in InDesign and Powerpoint
- filing of all relevant submission documents, records and company information
- creating and updating bid documentation templates including project sheets and staff CVs
- creating project submissions for awards such as RIBA, Civic Trust and NLA Awards
- supporting the communication team with press pack material
- supporting staff with bids, reports and research tasks
- assisting the practice’s involvement in any speaking opportunities, exhibitions or events
Attributes:
- have a strong interest in the architecture and design environment
- excellent time management and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- enthusiastic and well organised
- excellent interpersonal skills with proactive attitude
- excellent written communication skills and graphic design skills
- experience in using Adobe Creative Suite – particularly InDesign (advanced daily use level)
- experience in Microsoft Office packages
