A vacancy for a head of sales is available at Hem in Stockholm.

We are now hiring for what might be the most important role of Hem so far.

2017 was a momentous year for Hem. We closed the books 2017 with an impressive 150% growth in sales. We sold 1520 armchairs, 3174 stools, 2073 side tables as well as thousands other products, including sofas, chairs, lamps and accessories to interior designers, architects, businesses and consumers in 30 countries on four continents, with the US being our single biggest market.

We achieved this with a small, talented and ambitious team, but without any proactive Sales! How? The simple answer – Great products. It’s at the core of what we do, and our relentless focus on pioneering design and quality is paying off.

The bigger picture – Hem is on a marathon towards our mission; to become the next generation design brand. To achieve that goal, we are hiring the best and the brightest and look for those who have a genuine passion for the design industry, but who wants to change it for the better.

During 2018, we are building out a proper sales team, to professionalize sales at Hem, and to make the most of the demand that keeps building. Our first step is to hire a Head of Sales to lead the efforts.


You are probably a few years into your career, but still eager to make some real change. You are attracted to a fast-paced environment, you are solutions-oriented, you practice continuous improvement, and you show a lot of heart.

Your tasks will be divided upon:

  • defining and implementing Hem’s sales strategy, together with the mgmt team
  • building and leading Hem’s sales organisation, including:
    • an in-house customer team
    • a team of key account managers for key markets
  • mapping and acting on opportunities on international markets
  • overseeing Hem’s flow of sales leads from digital channels

The position is based in Stockholm and reports to the CEO.
