at Marks Barfield Architects
Marks Barfield Architects is hiring an architect to join its team in London.
Marks Barfield Architects is looking for a London-based architect, passionate about design and with a minimum of two years’ UK experience post qualification, to join our practice.
Our multi-award-winning practice uses its creative approach to provide visionary and technically astute solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects: visitor attractions, arts and culture, sports and leisure, residential, education, workplace and infrastructure. We believe that successful projects come from good research, exploration, a response to the climate crisis, collaboration, and great teamwork. We are a regenerative practice; pushing the circular economy, passive design principles, and enhancing biodiversity – and are seeking a like-minded individual. Our studio is in Clapham, where our convivial teams come to work in the office, enjoying a friendly and collaborative experience, with celebrations (definitely cake) along the way.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong design and technical skills, meticulous detailing ability, and exceptional attention to detail. All projects are run in Revit and proficiency is therefore essential. As an architect you will be; a good team player, proactive, capable of working independently, confident to manage a project efficiently, and able to work with your project team to achieve a successful outcome. As your levels of responsibility, autonomy and skills mature, we will offer you good support in order to achieve shared goals.
