Are you looking for a position in an international architectural firm? MVRDV is currently looking for a junior business development collaborator to join its globally active BD team. The new position will focus on international and German-speaking countries.
- creative and innovative skills
- understanding architecture, management, and project development/conception
- master degree in a subject such as architecture, urban planning, business, real estate or marketing
- willing to work 32-40 hours per week
- graphic design skills and experience with creating diagrams and layouts will be highly valued
- fluent German speaker
- excellent knowledge of English language will be highly valued
What we offer:
As a BD collaborator you will form an integral part of the business development team. We collaborate together to find new projects for MVRDV, including through public tenders, private competitions, active research and pitching. You will be active across many areas of architectural management, such as concept development, tender management, design management, market research, making financial proposals, and making contact with potential clients worldwide. Because of this, you will gain extensive knowledge of architectural and urban development processes from the inside, while also getting a chance to practice your ability to sell ideas and buildings.
We offer a position in a dynamic international environment for 32-40 hours per week. MVRDV uses the salary according to the collective agreement for staff employed by architecture firms Architecten CAO. Place Rotterdam, incidental travel is necessary.
