Nanimarquina is hiring a West Coast sales manager to join its team on the West Coast of the USA.

The opportunity
We are searching for an exceptional West Coast sales manager to lead and expand our contract and retail divisions within their territory. As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll work closely with our network of multi-line agents, retailers, interior designers and architects. Your mission is to build bridges, foster growth and exceed established sales goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- be our brand ambassador: represent Nanimarquina with pride and professionalism
- connect with key accounts: identify and nurture top contract and retail accounts
- build relationships: cultivate strong connections with decision-makers in the A&D/retail community
- hit the road: visit interior designers, architecture firms, purchasing agents and retailers on a daily and weekly basis
- network and learn: attend local trade events and engage in knowledge-sharing opportunities
- demonstrate your skills in handling high-profile accounts
- exceed targets: meet and exceed annual sales goals by following our sales policies
- strategise and execute: develop sales strategies, research, cold call and deliver presentations
- empower decision-making: act independently and make strategic decisions within company guidelines
- leverage your network: bring your established client base and A&D community connections
- explore the world: travel within your target area and attend national and international trade shows
- teamwork: collaborate closely with our NYC showroom manager on staffing, events and customer visits
- stay accountable: provide monthly sales reports to the vice president
Job requirements:
- demonstrated track record in leadership roles, ideally within the interior contract and/or retail industry
- strong understanding of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- proven success in growing sales, expanding market share and hitting revenue targets
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building lasting relationships
- ability to analyse sales data, market trends and customer insights to drive smart decisions
- a focus on exceeding customer expectations and delivering top-notch service
- proactive and self-motivated, able to thrive while working independently
- proficiency in CRM systems is a plus
- experience: a minimum of five years’ experience selling to the A&D and/or retail channels
- education: BA degree or equivalent work experience
Please note that this is a remote position but the candidate should be in Los Angeles or San Francisco. A minimum of three years of relevant working experience is required.
