About the role
Our landscape team has been highly successful in winning exciting new work. We are looking to grow the landscape team through the recruitment of a dynamic, experienced, creative and entrepreneurial landscape architect who can manage a team, win new business and execute a broad range of landscape planning and design jobs to a consistent standard of excellence.
We need someone to:
- play an active role in the success of our growing business through their entrepreneurialism and creative ideas
- provide the day to day lead for our landscape team
- win new landscape work, develop existing our existing business contacts and take a lead with support from the director team on landscape business development
- manage, mentor and develop our existing team of landscape architects and assist in the recruitment of future team members
- take the lead on the landscape projects, tenders and competitions for our public and private sector clients
- promote a strong design ethos and flair for landscape design underpinned by commerciality
- ensure quality of outputs for landscape design and landscape planning projects
About you
Your skills and qualifications:
- a chartered landscape architect with a minimum of eight years of post-qualification experience, ideally in the private sector
- competent in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp and Microsoft Office
- experience of Revit and BIM projects
- able to hand draw layouts, prepare sketch perspectives and cross sections
- display clear and concise analytical and communication skills
- convey the ‘story’ of their design development process in a manner that persuades and excites
- produce well researched and structured written and graphic work
- demonstrate ability to win work and manage a team

This role profile reflects the core activities of the role, but it is not intended to be all encompassing. We operate a flexible working model with a mix of home and office based working. The nature of our projects means that the role does involve the need to travel. Although we seek wherever possible to use sustainable transportation methods, a driving license is highly desirable.
