There is an opportunity at reMIX Studio for architects to join its office in Beijing, China.
We are an international firm based in Beijing, China, with a multidisciplinary team of architects, landscape and urban designers. The office combines academic research and design practice with a specific focus on the critical integration of architecture and landscape into new urban hybrids.
reMIX is a non-hierarchical team of highly motivated young professionals that work with a consistent methodology across a great variety of design types and scales, from small installations to large urban masterplans.
We strongly believe in the importance of a convivial working atmosphere and everyone in the office is invited to present her/his particular research or technical expertise through periodic sharing sessions. The multicultural character of the office is strengthened by its location in the heart of Beijing historical hutongs, in a fascinating intersection of globalised hyper-modernity and traditional local culture.
We have recently won an international competition to design one of the biggest high-school campuses in China; 120,000 sqm with a uniquely complex high-density program in the very city center of Shenzhen. You will have the chance to work on the development of a new model of educational campus that challenges all existing typologies, and follow it all the way through completion.
Other on-going projects include multiple renovations in Beijing historical city center, hospitality projects in rural areas and public facilities across China.
